Jana DeMots, a Southern California native, grew up in Carlsbad before moving to Malibu to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Upon graduation, Jana pursued her professional interests in administration and marketing at a Fortune-500 financial services company, a start-up biotech company, and an international software company. In those positions, she honed her skills in organization, marketing, event planning, project management, and communications. She utilizes these skills daily in her role as Advancement Assistant as she supports Pacifica’s community outreach and fundraising needs for the Head of School and the Director of Advancement.

In her free time, Jana loves spending time with her husband of 16 years and their teenage son, Keegan.  Together they enjoy sports, travel, biking, reading, and time with friends.
