Giving Tuesday – Let’s Change the World, One Student at a Time
A generous friend of the school has committed to donate 50 cents for every dollar given for the remainder of the year! Please prayerfully consider making a contribution to the Founders’ Annual Fund. Every contribution—large or small—is significant!
In today’s complex world, what we need more than ever is a flood of thoughtful young people of faith and virtue. We need people who can engage every sector of life and commerce with confidence, who are capable of doing good work, who desire to effect positive change in our culture, who can prayerfully lead the Church for the next decades, and who can stand up for what is true, good, and beautiful in the face of adversity.
At Pacifica, we strongly believe young people are capable of quite a lot and that what they do with their lives can change the world. With this in mind, we take their education very seriously, as we know they will go on to become leaders in communities and churches, launch thriving new companies, cultivate good and loving families, and live out their daily lives doing good. Each day on our campus, we educate the next generation of world changers.
This Giving Tuesday, I’m humbly asking you to stand with many others in our community by making a contribution to the Founders’ Annual Fund. Our goal is to raise $100,000 by December 31, 2015. A generous friend of the school has committed to donate 50 cents for every dollar given for the reminder of the year. Make your gift today, and together we will change our world, one student at a time. Click here to make a contribution online.
Thank you, again, for your consideration of giving to Pacifica—an important resource for Orange County families.
With love and prayers,
Head of School
Join the Founders’ Circle
Named for the year of the founding of Pacifica, The Founders’ Circle honors those who support the founding of the school with an especially strong financial gift of $25,000 or more. Members of The Founders’ Circle will be invited to a special celebration in the spring of 2016, and will have their names engraved on a memorial plaque—or installation—that will be proudly displayed on campus in perpetuity. To join the Founders’ Circle make your transformation contribution before December 31, 2015. Make a Contribution Online »
A Lesson from George Washington - Happy Thanksgiving
Being thankful for every aspect of our lives creates a foundation for thinking and living well. As we become increasingly grateful for our ability to think, reason, and explore the world God created, we become better students. As we grow in appreciation for the people with whom we share life, we become better spouses, friends, and citizens. As we grow in gratefulness for our failures and the trials we encounter—that God is in the process of redeeming—we enjoy a deeper experience of peace. As we grow in our gratitude for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we experience true joy.Read More
