Amanda Belzl

Academic Support Specialist

Amanda Belzl was born and raised in Southern California. She became involved in Youth Ministries at Purpose Church in Pomona at a young age and quickly developed a heart for the vocation of serving young people.

Her career aspirations came into sharper focus when she began her higher education studies at Citrus College, finishing her undergraduate work at Life Pacific University. There, she received a degree in Human Development and Psychology with a concentration in Counseling, as well as a minor in Biblical Studies. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Life Pacific, she furthered her studies at Azusa Pacific University, where she received her Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling, along with her Pupil Personnel Services Credential. Amanda is a member of the American School Counseling Association and is captivated by all things school counseling-related!

Amanda also enjoyed a highly successful twelve-year volleyball career as both a player and coach. She has served as a Club Volleyball coach for girls of all ages, as well as an assistant coach to her mentors at Citrus College. In addition to her Academic Support work during the school day, she greatly looks forward to serving as Head Coach for the Junior Varsity Volleyball team at Pacifica for the 2022 Fall season. Amanda considers it a tremendous honor to serve Pacifica as both a counselor and a coach and looks forward to building connections with her students and players.

Ms. Belzl enjoys movie nights with her family, spending time with her dogs Mylah and Gracie, beach trips with friends, and wedding planning with her fiancée, Andrew. She also enjoys performing volunteer work for the American Cancer Society, where she serves as a member of “Team Pledge.” Amanda looks forward to a fruitful and fulfilling career helping young people advance on their spiritual and educational paths.
