Cameron Bishop

Cameron Bishop was raised in a missionary family in Southern Africa and Europe. He has traveled to 38 countries and has eaten street food on five continents. He met his wife while studying theology at a small Bible college in San Antonio Texas and now has three young adult children. His greatest success is the knowledge that his kids love God, love each other, and their parents. Cameron is a prolific painter and woodworker. His primary mediums are oils and watercolor. He has owned a custom furniture business and has created several commissioned painted works.

Cameron’s education is wide-ranging. He earned a degree in Theology from International Bible College in San Antonio Texas, where he also was president of the Senior class of 1993. He went on to Columbia International University in South Carolina where he earned an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Intercultural Studies. After the birth of their first son, the family moved to Texas where he taught Art and English while pursuing a second Masters in Linguistics and Post Graduate coursework through The University of Texas. He taught K-12 art at Ovilla Christian school for 2 years and High school painting at Waxahachie Prep for several semesters during his time in Texas. He also taught English and Linguistics at Southwestern Assemblies of God University for 11 years, before moving to Southern California and taking a position as Department Chair of English at Fairmont Preparatory Academy in Anaheim. After 5 years, he and his family moved back to the East Coast to care for an aging parent. Now they have returned to sunny Southern California and plan to live out their days in paradise. Cameron is currently working remotely for Liberty University as well as pursuing a DMin in Creative Communication from Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
