Connor Osborn
Student Life Coordinator, Campus Supervisor

Connor Osborn

Connor grew up in north Orange County and, as a pastor’s son, was always immersed in his church community at Fullerton Free. From a young age, he was put in situations where he needed to be a leader among friends and peers—from leading worship to interning in the youth group, and leading Bible studies with his friends. In high school, Mr. Osborn decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and train to do Youth and Family Ministries. He transferred from Brea High School to Whittier Christian High School the summer between his sophomore and junior year, going out of his comfort zone, to start a new chapter.

At Whittier Christian, Connor learned the importance of serving the local community, deepening his understanding of Biblical theology, and using his gifts and talents for God’s glory. He became passionate about worship ministry and led the Chapel Band Program as a volunteer, while also leading worship on Wednesdays and Sundays at youth group. After high school, he went to Biola University where he graduated with a B.A. in Christian Education and a Minor in Biblical Studies. He met his beautiful and incredibly creative wife Emily, who also has a heart for serving the youth just as her parents did together as youth pastors for decades. Her love for others, musical talent, and desire to know God, are just a few of her many attributes that encouraged Connor to keep pursuing his dreams and goals.

When Connor graduated from college he went straight into youth ministry, as well as assisting in worship ministry along the way. He volunteered for ministries like Young Life, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Cru as a youth pastor and had many interactions with his students on their school campuses.

After nearly 8 years of serving in youth ministry and worship ministry, Connor’s passion for Christian education grew more and more. By discipling his students on their school campuses through outreach programs, he began finding creative ways to lead, mentor, and build a lasting Christ-centered community for the next generation. As a Student Life Coordinator, coach, and Campus Supervisor, Connor gets to use his gifts of leading, teaching, discipleship, event planning and community outreach, with the student leadership team at Pacifica. If students learn anything from interacting with Mr. Osborn, it’ll be the simple yet profound importance of loving Christ and loving others. As Jesus said in John 13:35: “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” That is Connor’s hope and goal at Pacifica. That others will know us by the way we love each other.
