Julia Bishop

Communications & Marketing Strategist

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Julia attended Huntington Christian School and Huntington Beach High School. As she pursued higher education, Julia was led to Pepperdine University, a Christian, liberal arts college in Malibu where she earned a B.A. in Public Relations and a Minor in Religious Studies. While at Pepperdine, she had the opportunity to work at several, large church conferences in LA, assisting with production, caring for volunteers, and coordinating guest hospitality for dozens of global speakers.

For the past three years, Julia has been employed as the Director of Communications at First Christian Church of Huntington Beach (FCCHB), where she still attends with her family. She enjoys regularly serving on the worship team with her husband, dad, and best friends, and is so grateful for the community and fellowship that has found in the local church.

Julia met her husband, Cole, in the HBHS Academy for the Performing Arts. The two dated long-distance for over three years while Julia was at Pepperdine, and Cole was at Liberty University in Virginia. They had a small, COVID-style wedding in 2020, and are excited for the next chapter of their marriage as coworkers! (Cole currently teaches History & Theology at Pacifica.) When the Bishops aren’t at Pacifica, you can usually find them in a local coffee shop, at the beach, getting creative with new recipes, or walking their pup, Albus.

Mrs. Bishop is delighted to join the Pacifica family, and can’t wait to use her communications and marketing expertise to make connections in the community and build relationships with prospective families and students. Most importantly, she’s excited to inspire Tritons to think and live well, all while pursuing the Lord’s plan for their lives and learning to love like Jesus.
