Julia Bishop

Communications & Marketing Strategist

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Julia attended Huntington Christian School and Huntington Beach High School. As she pursued higher education, Julia was led to Pepperdine University, a Christian, liberal arts college in Malibu where she earned a B.A. in Public Relations with a Minor in Religious Studies. While at Pepperdine, she had the opportunity to work at several, large church conferences in LA, assisting with production, caring for volunteers, and coordinating guest hospitality for dozens of global speakers.

Prior to Pacifica, Julia was employed for three years as the Director of Communications at First Christian Church of Huntington Beach (FCCHB). While at the church, she also regularly served on the worship team with her husband, dad, and best friends.

Julia met her husband, Cole, in high school at the HBHS Academy for the Performing Arts (APA). The two dated long-distance for three years while Julia was at Pepperdine, and Cole was at Liberty University in Virginia. They had a small, COVID-style wedding in 2020, and are excited for the next chapter of their marriage as coworkers! (Cole currently teaches History & Theology at Pacifica.) When the Bishops aren’t at Pacifica, you can usually find them in a local coffee shop, at the beach, getting creative with new recipes, or walking their pup, Albus. Julia & Cole currently attend church at Redeemer OC in Newport Beach.

Mrs. Bishop is excited to inspire Tritons to think and live well, all while encouraging them to pursue the Lord’s plan for their lives.
