Student Life

Kimberly Adams comes to Pacifica with impressive playing and coaching resumes. A graduate of Dana Hills High School, Kimberly was a four-year varsity player, two-time first team all-league winner, and team MVP her senior year. She also helped lead her high school team to back-to-back CIF-Southern Section postseason appearances. Kimberly earned an athletic scholarship to play at the University of San Diego, where she helped lead her Tritons to three NCAA West Regional Tournaments and one NCAA National Tournament. Kimberly then went on to play one year of professional volleyball in the Superliga Femenina in Spain.

Kimberly’s coaching career consists of seven years as a coach and camp director for Gold Medal Squared Volleyball Camps, a nationwide program that works with over 40 high schools each summer across the country. She also has over nine years of coaching experience at the club and the high school levels, coaching club teams Epic, San Clemente, and T-Street, as well as Coronado High School and, most recently, San Clemente High School.

In addition to coaching at Pacifica, Kimberly will also take on the role of Student Life Coordinator. She will oversee the day-to-day operations of Student Life, working in close collaboration with Associate Students (AS) to create an environment at Pacifica that fosters friendship and unity.

“Kimberly is an excellent addition not only to our Athletic Department, but our entire school community. Her love and passion for her students, her desire to see them grow as followers of Christ, and her grounded personal walk with Jesus makes her the perfect candidate to lead our Volleyball and Student Life programs.” said Brandon Gonzalez, Director of Athletics and Student Life.

Kimberly currently works as a Physical Education teacher at Mission Viejo Christian School. Prior to that, she spent two years teaching at Carachipampa Christian School in Bolivia, an Evangelical International Mission School.
