Pablo Martinez

Pablo joins Pacifica Christian High School after a successful 5 years as the Head Girl’s Basketball Coach at Santiago High School in Garden Grove, CA. During his time there, the Lady Cavs had a record of 39-1 with 4 straight league titles and 4 straight playoff appearances.

As a player, Mr. Martinez played at Santiago High School, Santa Ana College, Pensacola Christian College, and La Sierra University. After college, Pablo played professionally in Mexico for 4 years. Thereafter, he decided to dedicate himself full-time to coaching with stints at Magnolia High School and Long Beach City College as an Assistant Coach. He also founded SoCal Bulldogs Basketball Academy, a nonprofit youth ministry out of Village Bible Church.

Mr. Martinez’s positive approach to teaching the game of basketball is one of his major strengths. He also understands the importance of athletics in the overall character development of a child.

Pablo and his wife, Jasmine, reside in Anaheim, California. They have been married for 19 years and have 4 children—Andi Briana, Angie, Adrian, and Alani. They enjoy spending quality time together at the beach, barbecuing, watching movies, and attending sporting events.
