The Post-Christian Worldview: Dr. Andrew Newell Shares with Pacifica at Latest TGC Event

On Friday, April 21, 2023, Pacifica continued The Great Conversation (TGC) over breakfast as Dr. Andrew J. Newell (Junior Research Fellow at Oxford University) shared his thoughts on the topic: The Post-Christian Worldview as a New Religion. Dr. Newell invited the Pacifica community into a conversation about how the post-Christian, cultural worldview has become a new religion, complete with its own high priests and sacred beliefs. All in attendance were able to gain a better understanding of this new religion forming under “The Myth of Progress,” and were encouraged to continue to think and live Christianly.
