Good News from 2020

January 26th, 2021

Dear Friend,

2020 was a year like no other! It challenged our way of thinking, operating, and relating to each other. Despite these challenges, Pacifica has remained steadfast in our mission to help teenagers flourish academically, spiritually, and socially.

To that end, in September, Pacifica was one of the few high schools in the county to welcome all its students on campus for in-person learning. Together we continued our learning and preparation for lives of service and contribution. Together we created new memories and strengthened friendships. Together we further matured into young people more capable of leading amid troubled times. Within this community, we received love and sacrifice from our Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, and coaches who are committed to teaching a generation to think and live well. I have been inspired by the tenacity and charity of this community.

In this, our inaugural newsletter, we will review highlights from the first semester of our 2020-2021 school year as well as share some exciting news for the coming year. I hope the good work being done at Pacifica gives you hope for the future and inspires you to boldly step out in faith in 2021.
