Kevin Ringuette

Kevin Ringuette is a content, joy-filled person who is passionate about God, others, and teaching. Throughout his active childhood growing up in Southern California, his ideal future included a large family and teaching math. Just before walking through a life-threatening illness in 2011, he surrendered his life to Jesus. Open to whatever future lay ahead, he pursued a life of missions and ministry. Yet after much learning and hard work, he found God’s goodness bringing him back to his childhood dream of becoming a teacher.

Throughout his college years, Kevin worked as a private tutor and volleyball coach. For six years, he privately tutored elementary to college-age students in both mathematics and physics. He also coached volleyball at the club and high school level for five years. After completing his degree in Mathematics from Cal State Fullerton, he was blessed to find his way directly into full-time teaching. His first posting was in Bolivia, South America teaching math and physics at a K-12 school called Carachipampa Christian School, a 90-year-old school that serves both ex-pat missionary students and Bolivian natives. After one year, he returned to the States and taught Algebra and Geometry for five years at Stoneybrooke Christian School. Kevin is now excited to continue his passion for teaching at Pacifica while completing his Master’s degree in Mathematics from Cal State Fullerton

Since 2016, Kevin has served as a co-director and staff member of Royal Family Kids Camp in Mission Viejo, which is an annual summer camp for foster youth between the ages of 6-11. Since 2021, he has also served on the committee of Young Life One, which is a branch of Young Life that exists to show the love of Jesus to foster youth from their preteens to adulthood. Kevin lives in Old Town Orange with his beautiful wife and massive dog. In their free time, you can find Kevin and his wife reading, singing praise songs while playing guitar or keyboard, hiking, surfing, and generally enjoying nature.
