This past Friday, we witnessed nine talented performances for our declamations finalists, musical interludes that brought about standing ovations, and a celebration of a job well done as we call our students higher in the practices of speech and memorization.

As the night began, family, friends, and all of Pacifica made their way into St. Andrew's and waited in quiet anticipation as the first declaimer came onstage. With each performance, a myriad of emotions were sown into the crowd, moved by the works of C.S. Lewis, Flannery O'Connor, T.S. Eliot, and more. The energy of the night continued to build as siblings, Hannah and Caleb Schweiger performed a violin duet which such skill and intensity that the room exploded in a standing ovation!

At the end of the night, our judges deliberated and named Senior, Addison Arbini the Overall Winner!
