The Pacifica Endowment
In the spring of 2022, a friend of Pacifica generously gave $600,000 to establish The Pacifica Endowment.
Our vision is to solidify Pacifica as an intellectual and spiritual home for generations of young people, equipping them to lead and serve wherever God calls them. Our immediate goal for the Pacifica Endowment is to raise $5M in gifts and pledges with the long-term plan of raising $20M.

What is an endowment?
An endowment is a permanent fund that is invested and generates income that is used to support an organization's mission. It serves as a source of financial stability and overall financial health for an independent school like Pacifica.
The Pacifica Endowment is distinguished from tuition and gifts to the Pacifica Fund in the following ways:
- Unlike tuition income and gifts to the Pacifica Fund, an endowment provides a stable source of revenue for decades to come
- Every dollar invested in the Pacifica Endowment is multiplied as the endowment grows and generates income for the school
- Endowment helps to buffer the need for ever-higher tuition by providing a non-tuition-based source of income
- The amount of a school’s endowment is a key indicator of a school’s competitive strength and long-term viability
