Pacifica Hires Lucie Moore to serve as Director of Development

Lucie Moore Pacifica Christian High School-Orange County announces the hiring of Lucie Moore as the founding Director of Development. Mrs. Moore has held leadership roles in a number of independent schools and other nonprofits in the Orange County community. She has led fundraising efforts over the last 20 years for nonprofits such as Sage Hill School, The Pegasus School, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and the International Justice Mission (IJM). "Mrs. Moore brings to Pacifica a long-standing commitment and experience in leading and funding private schools throughout Southern California from elementary school to college," says Keith Carlson, President of the Board of Trustees. "She is a highly accomplished professional and has joined our team because of her commitment to Pacifica's distinct mission and her desire to build a premier Christian school for our community."

Lucie Moore has previously served as both Sage Hill School’s and The Pegasus School’s Chairman of the Development Committee for the Board of Trustees. She’s also served on the Board of Directors of HomeWord and CASA. After graduating from Vanderbilt University and William & Mary’s Marshall-Wythe School of Law, Lucie was a partner at the law firm of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.  She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Azusa Pacific University and Star Rock Ministries. Since 1998, Lucie has also been an Independent Trustee for Pacific Select Funds and Pacific Funds, of Pacific Life Insurance Company. Lucie lives with her husband, Geoff, in Newport Beach, and they have three grown children. They are active members of Grace Fellowship Church.
