Save the Dates: Triton Basketball Traditions

November 7th, 2018

Triton Nation strives together toward greatness.

It’s not about winning together or losing together. It’s about striving together, competing together, and uniting our entire community. This winter, we invite you to join our dynamic community and experience Triton Tradition! So mark your calendars, and come join the Triton Tradition!

BRING THE RAIN

Friday, November 16, 2018

Each year during the first Friday game at home, Triton Nation, dressed in white, comes armed with rolls...and rolls...of toilet paper, which they rain onto the court after the first Pacifica 3-point basket at the men’s game. Free t-shirts will be given out at the women’s game.

Women’s Basketball vs. Public Safety Academy HS — 5:00 PM

Men’s Basketball vs. Crean Lutheran — 6:30 PM

SILENT NIGHT

Friday, December 14, 2018

As part of our month-long celebration, Christmifica, this tradition involves The Wedge (student section). In the Silent Night men’s game that happens every year before finals, the fans stay quiet until the 10th point is scored. When the 10th point happens, it's pure madness. Come wearing your favorite “ugly” Christmas outfit!

Women’s Basketball vs. Brethren Christian — 5:30 PM

Men’s Basketball vs. Fairmont Prep — 7:00 PM

WEDGEWEEK (Homecoming)

Friday, January 25, 2019

In January, Pacifica produces its week-long community celebration. Each day, students and faculty participate in spirit dress and lunchtime activities. The week culminates on Friday afternoon with basketball and soccer competitions. At the basketball game, our students raise awareness and money for a charity that is close to their heart. On Saturday, Associated Students host their semi-formal Wedge Week Dance.

Women’s Basketball vs. Orange County Christian — 5:30 PM

Men’s Basketball vs. Saddleback Valley Christian — 7:00 PM
