Pacifica Senior Published in Science Journal

May 31st, 2019

Over the past 12 months, Emma Hammond (Class of 2019) has completed an extensive Scholar Project centered around the intersection of medicine and human emotions. Throughout her project, she has shadowed doctors in the US and Sweden, produced a gallery of art pieces inspired by her reflections, and lastly published an interview with one of the doctors she shadowed. Emma's interview was published in Volume 1 of Emerging Female Scientists, the first electronic, peer-reviewed scientific journal for aspiring female scientists in middle and high school. Every submission is received and reviewed by an all-female editorial board, which is guided by a Scientific Advisory Board of nationally-recognized scientists, researchers, and educators.

Congratulations, Emma!
