One of Pacifica's students, Eston Kallins (Class of 2024), was recently published in the prestigious Journal of Tissue Engineering Part A, following 2.5 years of biomedical engineering research at University of California Irvine (UCI). On April 21, 2023, Kallins also presented this research on behalf of his research team to a group of engineers and medical professionals at the International Interdisciplinary Research Meeting for the TMJ at the University of Pennsylvania. This conference provided a unique opportunity for bioengineers, clinicians, and scientists to discuss the challenges presented by temporomandibular joint disorders and devise strategies to address those challenges. We are so proud of Eston for all of his hard work in this field and for representing the Tritons well!
