Project Giving Light | Dec. 6

Tritons, it is that time of year again when we get to partner with Project Giving Light!

Project Giving Light brings joy & light to homeless, foster, and at-risk children and youth in Southern California through special birthday celebrations. This time of the year brings another need, as Project Giving Light is hosting a Gift Drive for Christmas.

We have an opportunity to help provide Christmas toys and gifts for over 250 children in need! During Assembly Block on Friday, Dec. 6, students will gather together in the Triton Event Center with their Mentor Groups to wrap the gifts together. The hope is that each Triton will bring at least one gift to school that day for the age level they are assigned. 
 
Mentors will be speaking with their mentees about bringing wrapping paper or gift bags for their gifts, as wrapping paper will not be provided. 

Mentor Groups will provide gifts for ages 12-18!
  • Freshmen-Juniors:Please buy physical gifts (no gift cards)
  • Seniors: Gifts or Gifts Cards (Please include a card if its a Gift Card)
Some teen gift ideas are makeup, hair clips, ball caps, cool socks, card games, toiletry bags, journals and pens and stress balls/fidget toys. *For more gift ideas for your age group, please click on the Project Giving Light Gift Idea List. 

Project Giving Light Mission: Project Giving Light is a Christian-based non profit organization determined to give light to homeless children's dark world. We want to be a light in each child's life and bring them love and pure joy. Children are vulnerable and innocent to their circumstances and unfortunately not all children are made to feel special. We want to show these children that no matter what, God loves them!
