Educating the whole person for all of life
Beyond our everyday classroom curriculum, Pacifica students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of programs designed for students to apply and expand their skills and knowledge outside the classroom.
These programs include:
The Arts
As God is the creator, so humans are meant to be creative. Pacifica Arts gives students the skills and opportunity to express who they are and what moves them as people. In sharing their works to the community they learn to take risks and to add beauty to our world.
Triton Athletics
Pacifica’s competitive athletic program encourages excellence on the court, field, or pool as well as in life. Pacifica gives both the expert and the novice athlete a chance to thrive. While competition is enjoyable, it is the shared experiences, the hard work to achieve goals, and the service to a team that produce character.
Academic Teams
One of the many ways in which our school fosters this culture is through our competitive Academic Teams. Our commitment to the liberal arts and sciences is reflected in our teams, where students have the opportunity to participate in competitions related to math, language, and the arts.
Prefect Board
The Student Prefect Board is a staff-selected body that will cultivate transferable leadership principles in its members by providing professional experiences and direct mentorship from Pacifica administrators and staff.
Senior Projects
Senior projects depart from the traditional school day to broaden students' learning outside the classroom. During this annual activity, Pacifica seniors will execute a passion project pertaining to adventure, creativity, curiosity, the use of various life-skills, or community service.
Declamations Contest
Having progressed through several rounds of competition in their classes, our Declamations finalists declaim on stage in front of the entire Pacifica community in categories such as Literature, Oratory, and Bible / Theology.
TGC Honors & Scholars
Our TGC Honors program consists of three unique pathways to enhance students' academic experience. Each path also offers an additional unique senior-study course called TGC Scholars — a one-on-one, guided, year-long project with a faculty advisor.
Service Learning Program
The Service Learning Program (SLP) at Pacifica, teaches the Triton community the value and importance of serving those in need.
Summer at Pacifica
Pacifica offers a variety of courses, camps, and enrichment opportunities over summer break! We have options for grades K-8 to high school. All events are facilitated by our own staff and faculty and are held on our campus.
International Travel Program
While the classroom is one part of a student’s development, experiencing the world around us is vital to deepening our understanding of the world. It is only through interacting with the world around us that we can meaningfully engage it and make a lasting impact.The Next Classroom
