Courses FAQs
Summer courses are offered from 6/17 - 7/26 from 9 AM - 12 PM on Pacifica’s Main Campus. Courses will not be in session on July 4 and July 5 in observance of Independence Day.
Courses are in-person, fast-paced, and students should allocate time each day for homework after school.
Pacifica’s uniform is required during summer school.
The Pacifica community has high expectations for student conduct and will work diligently to maintain high standards, set a positive example, and help students meet those expectations. Students are expected to follow the general expectations as outlined in the Student Handbook as well as those expectations established in each teacher’s classroom. Pacifica’s Honor Statement and Honor Code apply all year-round.
Students have a maximum of 3 absences (excused or unexcused). Students with more than 3 absences may not receive credit for the class.
For-credit courses, such as Geometry and Creative Writing, provide 2 semester’s worth of credit. They are included on transcripts and count towards GPA as in any other course.
