Shared Life in Community
It’s all about culture.
We are intentional about every aspect of our shared life together to form young men and women who can think critically and wisely about the world and their place in it and enjoy the journey of high school.
We live by these six cultural behaviors:
Ask Good Questions
A sense of wonder about the world is foundational to knowing. Asking good questions is a hopeful and necessary part of a student’s quest for truth.
Learn from Others
Even wise people cannot see all angles, and sometimes the insight that solves the trickiest questions comes from a surprising place. We help students see that learning is relational.
Fail Forward
In great journeys, falling down is not the problem - turning back is. We embrace the possibility of failure as the risk of doing new and great things.
Assume the Best
We tend to find what we seek; the shape of our beginnings impacts our possible outcomes. And so we begin with hope.
Pursue Balance
Living well requires knowing how to prioritize good things, making time for what is important and allowing leisure to inform our work.
Act with Conviction & Compassion
The courage to pursue the truth in the midst of conflict and to engage others with grace and love.
