Biography

Anthony Rinaldi grew up in Southern California. He attended Biola University, where he received his B.S. in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. While at Biola, he received a university grant to research prosthetic limb control using minimal hardware. Anthony also graduated from the Torrey Honors College, where he indulged his love of books and developed an appreciation for how a liberal arts education could enhance the studies of a science major.

Over Anthony's four years at Biola, he discovered the joy of teaching through tutoring and TA positions for various science classes, and found Pacifica Christian as he was getting ready to graduate. He joined Pacifica in 2016, teaching in both the Math and Science departments. Although he does not teach any math classes anymore, Anthony still enjoys regular nerdy math conversations with Chris Caron, Matt Murphy, and the rest of the Math Department. Anthony is also the Chair of the TGC Honors program, Pacifica's honors curriculum. He particularly enjoys getting to help Seniors in the program plan and execute intensive Scholar Projects throughout the year. Outside of Pacifica's academic side, Anthony has been a co-leader of Pacifica's Dungeons and Dragons club since joining the school, where he enjoys adventuring with both students and fellow faculty.

Anthony lives in Norwalk with his wife Elizabeth, whom he met during their time in the Torrey Honors College. He enjoys baking, reading, and playing games with his wife and friends. The Rinaldis have two cats, Luna and Dante, fish, and lots of plants.
