Biography
Benjamin Vincent is a bi-vocational pastor and teacher with a full-time love for teaching theology and history. In addition to his ongoing work at Pacifica and as a pastor to youth and young adults in Bellflower, he also enjoys freelance writing for publications like Christianity Today and Christ & Pop Culture.

Benjamin is also a long-time coach and instructor of high school speech and debate and has spent several years as a music teacher. He is persuaded that he is called to teach and especially loves introducing students to the swashbuckling beauty and cautionary tragedies of history—where theological truth comes to life in full color.

Mr. Vincent received his Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is also a graduate of the Torrey Honors College and the 2021 recipient of the College’s prestigious G. Campbell Morgan award for scholarship and Christian character. He completed his Master’s degree at Talbot School of Theology and is a firm believer in lifelong learning—you'll often find him walking the streets around Pacifica with a book in hand (and a careful eye on surrounding traffic).

Benjamin was born and raised in the great Pacific Northwest and maintains a deep fondness for mountains, woodgrain, and evergreen forests. Other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, folk-dancing, camping, and doing anything at all with his wonderful wife, Sage. The two currently live in Garden Grove with their mildly neurotic but unfailingly sweet cat, Elsie.
