Who We Are

Jennifer Mrosek was born and raised in Southern California. After graduating with a B.A. in Mass Communications and a Minor in Theater History, she interned at a popular radio station in Los Angeles and landed a job in Portland, Oregon working for their number one radio station. Eventually, Jennifer decided to return to Southern California to pursue a teaching career.  

Mrs. Mrosek brings 22 years of diverse experience working in education to Pacifica Christian High School. She began her career teaching special education and general education, and went on to pursue her Master of Science degree in Educational Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential. Prior to coming to Pacifica, Jennifer served students of all grade levels in large public school districts throughout Southern California. She transitioned to a private high school where she developed a deep fondness working with high school students guiding them to achieve their personal and academic goals within the context of a faith based education. 

As an educator, Mrs. Mrosek approaches each student from a whole child perspective and guides students to think critically and wisely, instilling genuine interest in learning and fostering grit and resilience to achieve their goals. Jennifer believes student achievement is more than academic performance and “making the grade.” She believes students today learn well in an educational setting that appropriately challenges them, fosters perseverance, while encouraging lives of character, faith, and following God’s purpose.

Jennifer resides in Orange County with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time on the soccer field with her girls, outdoor activities, family movie nights, DIY projects and attending concerts. She has participated in BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) and is currently completing a church counseling certificate.  

Fun Fact: Jennifer is a direct descendant of Eleazar Wheelock, a minister of 35 years who went on to found Dartmouth College.
