Who We Are

Kellie Hernandez looks forward to walking with prospective students and their families as they enter the Pacifica community. Kellie came to Pacifica from Vanguard University of Southern California where she served as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions. She loves imparting the value of a Christian, liberal arts education, and she knows that Pacifica is truly committed to a student's flourishing.  It is an absolute joy for Kellie to partner with students and their families as they embark on the high school journey. 

Kellie’s marketing background stems from her time at University of California, Los Angeles where she graduated summa cum laude. Kellie worked for various marketing firms and retail brands while obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Communications; she also graduated with UCLA’s Film, Television, and Digital Media Minor. In addition to earning her degree, Kellie had the privilege of serving in ministry as a leader with the Christian organization Young Life. Kellie was able to lead college students in deepening their relationships with Christ, and she fondly remembers her ministry trips to San Diego, Colorado, and Canada.

Mrs. Hernandez spends her free time with her husband, Michael, and their recently-adopted pup, Albus! Together, they enjoy attending their church, baseball games, country concerts, and taking lake trips with family. Albus accompanies them on any adventure that is open to furry, four-legged friends.
