Biography

Parker Mindel is a firm believer that education is a vehicle for formation. For this reason, he loves sharing Pacifica’s mission of teaching students to think and live well with prospective families.

Passionate about intersection between theology, art and culture, Mr. Mindel received his B.A. in Bible, Theology & Ministry at Biola University. During his time at Biola, he served as a Teacher's Assistant for multiple Biblical and Theological studies courses including New Testament Survey and Gospel of John. Outside of the classroom, the highlight of his collegiate experience was his campus job in Traditional Undergraduate Admissions.

As a Student Ambassador Supervisor in Biola Admissions, Parker oversaw a team of student workers as they assisted students and families through the college application process. Through this position, he had the unique opportunity to integrate his interests in education and pastoral direction into his professional experiences. Similarly, he views walking with prospective Pacifica families as a form of ministry.

Parker was born and raised in Louisville Kentucky, and although he has been living in Southern California for a while, he still considers himself a lifelong Kentuckian. In his free time, you can find him hanging out with his lovely wife Jenna, running in local parks, reading in a coffee shop, developing 35mm film photos, or watching a movie with his friends.
