Philip Parke, an Orange County native, has spent his entire life immersed in music and faith. Starting with the piano at age 4, and finding his love for singing at age 10 as a member of the All-American Boys Chorus here in Orange County, his music education continued at the University of Washington and Chapman University. Mr. Parke’s love for ministry has blessed him with over 30 years of service as a youth minister and music director in the Catholic Diocese of Orange. His love of history, faiths, and cultures, has taken him to places like Israel, Japan, Ireland, and much of Europe. He has a deep fondness for Cursillo and the Kairos prison ministry, as well as serving at weddings, funerals, and other faith gatherings. As a private music teacher of voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele, Phillip continues to bring the joy of music to students of all ages. An avid sports fan, Mr. Parke can be found enjoying time with his family watching football, basketball, and most other forms of competition. He and his wife, Laurie, married since December of 2000, live in Anaheim with their three boys, and are deeply humbled and blessed to be part of the Pacifica community. |
