Biography

Dasha is honored to serve as the Business Manager and Controller at Pacifica. Born in Kazakhstan and raised in Russia by parents who dedicated most of their lives to full-time missions in their home country, Dasha learned the importance of faith and service to one's local community early on. Her parents' ministry inspired her to use her musical education in jazz vocals to lead worship teams from a young age. With a passion for academia, entrepreneurship, and the arts, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Graphic Design from Azusa Pacific University, allowing her to develop careers in both public accounting and creative disciplines like graphic design and photography.

Dasha’s extensive experience in conducting financial audits for nonprofit and higher education institutions has prepared her to contribute effectively to Pacifica. Her work ensures the school's financial health and operational efficiency, providing the stable foundation that allows Pacifica to fulfill its mission of academic excellence and spiritual growth. In addition to her career in public accounting, over the past two years, she has offered business consulting services, focusing on optimizing workflows and integrating generative AI into digital art and operations.

Dasha is passionate about modeling to students that each person has multiple facets and that no single job or passion defines them. She believes that it’s not just what you do, but how you do it and the impact it has on the lives of others in a way that glorifies God. In her personal time, Dasha enjoys outdoor activities, learning new skills, and spending time with her husband, Paul, and their dog, Misha. She feels fortunate to be part of a community that views education as a means to glorify God and serve others.
