Dear Pacifica Parents,

 

This fall, I invite you to join the launch of The Pacifica Book Club. 

 

This book club is designed for parents to accompany our students’ intellectual and moral growth, following their chronological curriculum from 9th to 12th grade. We invite you to read alongside your students, cultivating a home and school culture of reading, thoughtful conversation, and the joy of a life together in pursuit of the good, true, and beautiful.

 

Our first book, The Odyssey, by Homer, invites us to reflect on themes of adventure, homecoming, and resilience. Every 9th grade student at Pacifica reads this epic Greek poem.
